As time moves on we all are going to have increased opportunity to stand for what we believe. This comes to us from St. Louis:
"Walgreen Co., the nations largest drugstore chain by revenue, said it has put four Illinois pharmacists in the St. Louis area on unpaid leave for refusing to fill prescriptions for emergency contraception in violation of a state rule.

The four cited religious or moral objections to filling prescriptions for the morning-after pill and have said they would like to maintain their right to refuse to dispense, and in Illinois that is not an option,Walgreen spokeswoman Tiffani Bruce said"

So four people have lost their jobs because they believed it was wrong to prescribe something that they knew would kill a baby. Their belief system would not allow them to take part or be a part of that process in any way. There was a time when that used to be considered noble and admirable. Today it just means you are out of work. I believe with all of my heart that the days are coming and in fact are here where all of us will be forced to make these types of decisions. You and I, should we live true to our faith, will be forced to choose one day soon, whom we will serve. I pray that we would make the right choice , and stand for what is true and right and noble. I pray that you and I would have the courage of these four to hold to what we know is right in God's eyes and not give into what the world tries to force upon us!

blog you later,
