AND ON IT GOES!

Here is another reason to be concerned where our culture is headed and what we as believers should or should not do to combat that. This from the wires today:

Sony Music has launched the first major music label dedicated to nurturing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender artists.
The label, Music with a Twist, is a joint venture with Wilderness Media & Entertainment, the company led by Matt Farber, who has founded MTV's new gay and lesbian channel LOGO.
"It's an idea whose time has come," Mr Farber said.
"Only now are media and entertainment brands being created for the gay and lesbian audience following the success of brands for other minorities," he said."

Do you see it? Did you hear that? Matt Farber likens gay and lesbians to minorities, equating them to a race! This is what the homosexual activists have earned with all of their activism, and to their credit they have done an admirable job of creating a society that accepts them as a minority.

The problem is that they are not a minority, they are not a race! Homosexuality is no more a race than is covetousness, they both fall under the category of sin, not race. But as long as we sit by quietly it is just accepted. And so now homosexuality is given equal footing with racism, meaning that affirmative action for homosexuals is not far away! This is why believers need to be a voice in culture. This is why we need to speak for how God designed us and the glory of His creation, not sit by idly watching passively while those who would pervert it have free reign to define it on their terms.

A homosexual music label, a homosexual television station, homosexual curriculum in schools, my two mommies in your local library, isn't it time for believers to be a voice? Now in being a voice let us be clear and truthful, speaking the truth in love, and most loving thing we could ever do is what Jesus did, call sin sin and point sinners to the cross.

To the bloggers , lets keep the insults and accusations from the blogging, let us engage with ideas not gratuitous slaps at one another!

blog you later,
