MAKE IT THE LAW EVERYWHERE!
For the most part when you listen to politicians you have to wonder how it is that they can get elected with the ideas, or lack of that they come to office with. But every now and then you hear something that makes a lot of sense, and reminds you that there really are some clear thinkers still in politics. A good example of that is this from the wires:
"Oklahoma Senator Jay Paul Gumm is committed to making Oklahoma the safest state possible for your children.
The Senator has written legislation to ensure that repeat child molesters face the toughest penalty possible. It's called Senate Bill 1747. It would make repeat child molesters subject to life in prison without parol or even the death penalty. "
This is maybe one of the best things I have heard about in a long long time, as far as legislation. The question you must ask yourself is, why not? Why wouldn't you put a repeat offender of child molestation to the ultimate penalty? If anyone deserves the death penalty it is the one who continually preys on children. This should not only be for Oklahoma, this should be the law of the land in every state in the union!
What better than to declare war on pedophiles everywhere. Particularly in our day and age where more and more offenders are getting slapped on the wrist for the rape of kids. Those who would repeatedly prey on our children in society should simply be removed from society. By the way a great place to start would be right in the Roman Catholic Church. Start with the organization which has for years propagated the rape of children. Round up those in leadership who knowingly put priests who were pedophiles in positions of leadership in the church. Arrest those who knew and enabled, starting from the Pope on down! There is no other organization, in my opinion, this side of NAMBLA that has done more to promote and enable the rape of kids than the Roman Catholic Church.
So good for the Oklahoma Senator, it is about time people began to speak up for those children of our society who have been preyed upon, regardless of who the perpetrators are!
