TOGETHER FOR THE GOSPEL!

I must apologize for the irregularity of this week's blog, but is the result of travel and conference life. Having said that, I must share with you the power that is the "Together for the Gospel" conference. In this setting there are speakers such as John Piper, John Macarthur, Al Mohler, R.C. Sproul, Mark Dever, C.J. Mahaney, and Ligon Duncan. That alone is a powerful event, as in this conference there are , in my opinion the greatest minds of the church today. These brothers are our church fathers.

But the most powerful thing about the conference is the reason they are all drawn together, and that is the Gospel. All of them recognize that in evangelicalism today there is a lack of gospel clarity and understanding. They recognize that people are often listening each Sunday to nothing more than a self help message designed to make them more focused on their own self sufficiency. What these brothers recognize is that the church is in a time of danger and crisis, and that danger and crisis is in the pulpits of many of the churches in America. From the health and wealth heresy, to the emergent attack on the sufficiency of Scripture to the feminist agenda that demands equal time in the role of teacher and preacher, the church is under assault!

What I appreciate the most is the solution they, to a man, have come to. The solution for combating these major dangers is in the expository preaching and teaching of the Word of God. They believe that this is how true reformation takes place in a church, through Gods Word being proclaimed and exposited week in and week out. It is a breath of fresh air in an evangelical culture that has clouded the church with the smog of self and doubt.

So be encouraged, there are great minds at work and a few thousand pastors sitting under their teaching and preaching excited to carry on the great work of expository preaching and teaching Gods Word. After all this has consistently been the power of the church and the means by which God uses to effect His church for His glory! I pray that you find yourself each week in such a church as that.

A HARDENED CRIMINAL?

It saddens me to see the President of the United States seek to sentence a woman who spoke out against the leader of China to six months in prison. Weni Wyang shouted at the President at a recent press conference to stop the leader of China Hu Jintao from persecuting people of Falun Gong a religious group. She shouted at the Jintao that his days were numbered. It was something that you see from time to time from people who secure press credentials with the goal of disrupting an event. At worst this activity is a misdemeanor. But the administration is seeking to send this woman to prison for six months!

What is particularly disturbing about this is that China is one of the worst countries on the planet for religious persecution. Their record is atrocious, and they have consistently and systematically arrested, beaten and killed people for their faith. President Bush in a visit to China recently addressed that in a courageous way that was noted in this blog. But now the President is not only looking the other way, he is punishing a woman for speaking the truth. Add to this the reality that this is America, a country that prides itself on free speech and the rights of the people, and you have a truly hypocritical cowardly act by the administration.

In most cases I am a supporter of this President, but this is troubling to me. I have a hard time with our country having normalized relations with China, due to the persecution they reign down on the church, let alone punishing some poor woman who had the courage to speak the truth. It is also noteworthy that when this began to happen, China cut the newsfeed to their country, and when CNN International spoke of it later that night, China cut the feed from them as well.

I would urge the President to reconsider this aggressive move on this woman, and suggest that he look to channel that aggression elsewhere, say Iran for example?

NO GREATER LOVE!

Here is a story that will warm and break your hearts. Orfa Elisa Jimenez is an eight year old girl who was among the sixty that were involved in one of the worst bus crashes ever in Mexico. She is also only one of the two that actually survived, as fifty eight out of sixty died. How is it that she survived? This eight year old girl credits her grandmother who was on the bus with her. She says as the bus crash began to take place her grandmother grabbed her and held her tight, giving up her life for the life of her granddaughter. No greater love than one give their life for another.

We see the love of Jesus Christ in this grandmother who certainly knew what has happening. She knew much better than her eight year old granddaughter the severity of the situation, and she chose to do all she could to spare the eight year olds life. As the bus tumbled down the ravine, the girl reported that her grandmother held her tightly all the way down, giving up her life for the life of another. So today this eight year old has a life ahead of her, in which she is responsible and accountable to the grandmother who gave her life for her. This eight year old knows she has a legacy to live up to.

Isn't that how we should feel about our lives in light of the sacrifice Christ paid for us. He died so that we could live, and we ought to view our lives in the same way the eight year old does, indebted. We are indebted to the one who gave us life, and should live with that in view. May God bless this eight year old girl as she lives out the life her grandmother sacrificed to give her, and may He bless us as we live out the life that He has given those of us that are His!

On another note, I am traveling this week to Kentucky to a pastor's conference and will do my best to blog each day.

THE GOLDEN YEARS?

For those of you who think that persecution is something that ends when you reach the golden years, consider this story. For 17 years, residents met weekly in the Warner Springs Estates clubhouse for a prayer and Bible study meeting. Warner is a senior mobile home park in Southern California. A place where people go to live amongst their peers in quiet and solitude. A place where they can go and play bingo and card games and even attend their own Bible study. Well that was all true until new leadership took over the homeowners association. In short order they contacted the pastor who was leading the Bible studies with a threatening letter telling him that there could no longer be a Bible study there.

No longer could there be the Wednesday night community Bible study that had been there for 17 years! And the pastor and others were told that to defy the letter was to be asking to be sued. Not only were they sent a letter but their study was disrupted by other tenants of the park. As they would try to conduct the study, other seniors would come in and turn up the television, play games and do whatever they could to disrupt the study of God's Word. An amazing display of persecution being immune to age and location.

But praise God for those seniors who have hung in there and committed to themselves to keeping the study. They have gone into homes to meet, and also are bringing a lawsuit against the association. Gods Word tells us clearly that anyone who seeks to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, regardless of how old you are or where you might live. So the next time you drive by a retirement community remember this account, and ask God to bless those who might be in the midst of persecution due to their stand for God and His Word! Do not be fooled by the white hair, bright colors and slow gait, real battle is taking place everywhere, including our retirement communities.

STORYTIME FROM HELL!

In the same school that brought us the David Parker incident we again are confronted with the homosexual agenda being perpetrated upon our children. In the second grade class room of Estabrook Elementary School the students were given a story time. Story time is that part of the day where the teacher reads to the children. In the second grade, children are generally focused on the story in story time. In the second grade children are also known to hold their teachers in a very high regard. If the teacher says it then it must be true. Enter Heather Kramer, the teacher of this second grade class.

Heather, in her infinite "wisdom" decided to go outside of the curriculum on this particular day. Not an unusual decision, as teachers will often read something outside of the curriculum that they feel will be beneficial to the class. The book that Kramer decided to read to the children was "King and King", a tale of homosexual romance. The story is based on a king who cannot find a suitable female to marry and one day sees another man and falls in love with him. I have seen the book and towards the end they have a large drawing of the two men kissing, followed by a post wedding scene celebration. This is what Heather decided to teach her class. How could a teacher do such a thing you ask? Well Heather Kramer, according to reports had attended a GLESN (Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network) workshop on promoting homosexuality in the classroom. It seems she was simply putting into practice what she had learned about furthering the homosexual agenda in the classroom. One child's parents were outraged and went to a meeting with the teacher and the principal where they were told in no uncertain terms that this was fine to teach as gay marriage is legal and furthermore they would not inform parents of this type of teaching and would not allow parents to opt out with their kids! Shocking but true.

So for the bazillionth time I encourage you to be involved with your kids schooling, if you have to send them to public school. And if there is any way possible get them out of there! On a final note, I would encourage believers to consider the incredible mission field of public school teaching. The public schools are the battleground in our cultural war. The students are the hostages and are in desperate need for someone to come in and rescue them from the depraved worldview they are indoctrinated with each and every day!

WHAT NOW JUDGE?

Here is one that will be interesting to follow. Jennifer Bijaczyk, 33, has been arrested for having sexual relations twenty to twenty five times with a 16 year old who was one of her employees at a McDonald's. The legal charge is unlawful sexual activity with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The victim confessed the truth in the midst of counseling sessions that she was attending. The mother of the victim had become suspicious when Jennifer kept calling her house to speak with her daughter even after her daughter had stopped working there. Amazingly Jennifer was married at the time and owned a house with her husband.

This will be interesting because we have seen in the recent past that often women who have preyed on young boys have received lesser sentences than males who commit the same crimes. There seems to be a bias in the judicial system that somehow sees an adult woman with a teen age boy as something less violent and damaging than an adult man with a teen age girl. There are many precedents in decisions that give evidence to that being true of our courts today. But now we are faced with an adult woman who has preyed upon a teen age girl. Will the courts continue its double standard of letting women pedophiles off easier, or will they in this case rule with a stronger hand because the victim is a teen age girl?

The greater message that is tragically seen day after day is that throughout this country adults in positions of responsibility and trust are violating the children they are entrusted with. From the priesthood to the public schools our children are under attack, and the attackers are those we drop them off to. Our day and age calls for extra care in who we leave our children with. Let yourself be called overprotective, a worry wart and old fashioned. If that is what it takes to keep your child from being violated, wear those titles with pride!

KENTUCKY FRIED!

Revisionist history is alive and well. Revisionist history is mans attempt to change history to better reflect his ideology. In that spirit the Kentucky Board of Education has decided to recommend that textbooks in the state have the secular dating abbreviations of B.C.E. and C.E. alongside the traditional Christian-based B.C. and A.D. B.C. stands for before Christ and A.D. stands for the year of our Lord. Abbreviations that have been used historically to mark time, but the Kentucky Board of Education in their infinite "wisdom" believes they should begin the process of doing away with those as they are too Christian. Now they will not say that up front. They will only at this point advocate that schools use textbooks with the additional B.C.E., "Before Common Era", and C.E. "Common Era" added.

You can be sure this is step one in the total elimination of the historic abbreviations that show the proper place of Christ in the history of man. Political correctness dictates moves like this one, as our culture cannot stand the thought of any absolute or the adherence to any one faith system, and certainly cannot stand the thought of Jesus Christ being recognized at all. It is important for us to be aware of these events and seek to stem the tide of the political correct police who seek to take over our great country. Now is the time to be on the local school committee, to run for local office, to get involved. I have said it before and bring it before you again. And that is all I have this eighteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord!

A TALE OF TWO ACTIVIST GROUPS!

The similarities are too striking to not mention. A rabid group of activists attacking, seeking to intimidate those who would have the audacity to oppose them. Activists going after their opponent financially, seeking to bankrupt them with economic terrorism. Activists smearing their opponent with lies and attacks on character. By now you would think I am describing the homosexual activist community. The reality is that they fit the above description but they are not who I speak about. The group that has taken their strategy right from their playbook is the illegal immigrant activists!

This is another rabid activist group who are behaving just like the homosexual activists. For example they are targeting AOL economically, seeking to hit them hard with boycotts of their products. Is their target AOL? No their target is Lou Dobbs a CNN anchor. They seek to make a statement by impacting AOL financially, as AOL is owned by Time Warner which also owns CNN, who Dobbs works for. The demand of the terrorist activists is that Dobbs be fired from CNN. His crime? To have the nerve to disagree with illegal immigration. Dobbs has spoken up on the air and frankly has become a voice in a vacuum of ideas,solutions,and courage.

The illegal immigrants do not approve, so instead of dialoging in the arena of ideas, they do what all terrorist activists do, they seek to attack and destroy. One of the leaders of this movement to get rid of Dobbs is quoted as saying:

"The demise of Lou Dobbs would be fatal. There would be nowhere for him to land because wherever he surfaced such as FOX, the Ax AOL campaign would follow him by simply changing our name to Ax FOX."

The illegal immigrant activists have learned well from their homosexual brethren. They are out to seek and destroy any and all who oppose them. So hear is one more chance to stand up and be counted. Otherwise you might find yourself out of work due to losing your job to an illegal immigrant. Which means you will have more time to go to play group with your kids and interact with the lesbian and homosexual parents who also bring their kids to your child's play group!

GOOD FRIDAY?

It is interesting to me that today is called Good Friday. How is it that the brutal, heinous, inhumane murder of an innocent man can be called good? How is it that the crucifixion, one of the cruelest ways ever invented for a man to die can be called good? No one who would have been there watching Jesus die that day would have thought of it as a good day. Yet we persist in calling it good. How can that be?

Well let me begin with the understanding that the goodness of the day is dependent upon the perspective with which you see it. It is good to God, because that was the day that sin and death and Satan himself were publicly defeated. Jesus Christ bleeding, suffering and dying at the cross was the public display of His paying for the sins of all that were His. The wrath of God that should have been poured out for all eternity on sinners was taken by Jesus at the cross. So for God, Father Son and Holy Spirit it was a great day as the glory of God was shown. It also was a good day for all of those who would believe on Christ. For everyone past present and future who would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for the payment and forgiveness of their sins it was not a good day, but a great one.

But it was not Good Friday for many others. For all of those who would reject Jesus Christ it was not a good day, in fact it was a day where they were condemned forever. The cross is the condemnation for all who will never believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. The cross is the condemnation for all who would believe they could earn their way into Gods favor. The cross and the resurrection on that Sunday proves that Jesus Christ is the only way the only truth and the only life, that there is no other way to the Father.

So the question today is, do you see this as Good Friday or not? Your eternity is in the answer to that question!

TRUE HEROES!

Yesterday in open court the tape of the final minutes of flight 93 from September 11 were played. An emotional and heart wrenching day for the families of those who lost their lives on that flight. What was heard was the final battle for control of the plane, a battle that was won by the brave Americans on board. This plane, without a doubt, was headed for Washington D.C. and would have crashed into either the Capitol Building or the White House, images that would have fueled terrorists for years to come. But due to the heroic efforts of average every day Americans, that image would not be seen by anyone, instead the plane would crash in an empty field in Pennsylvania.

The final minutes of flight 93 remind us of everything good about our country. The passengers at some point were put in the back of the plane. Some of them had called loved ones and found out about the two planes that had already been flown into the twin towers. So what did these Americans do? They voted! They took a vote on a course of action. How telling and significant that as they decided their fate, they decide in a time of life and death to hold a vote. A beautiful picture of the American ideal. We all know that after voting they took action and took the plane back. Whether they actually controlled the plane or not we will never know, but we do know they controlled it enough for the terrorists to decide that they would crash it in the field. These Americans decided to give up their own lives for the sake of others. They could not be sure that their plane would be flown into a building or not at that time. They were being told that their was a bomb on board and they were going back to the airport. But they decided to give up their lives for the lives of their fellow countrymen.

But these heroes are not just a picture of everything good about America, they in fact were a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ, who laid His life down for others. He went to Calvary and hung on a cross, bearing the wrath and penalty from God so that all that would place their faith in Him would be spared and receive eternal life. He too died so that others would live, but the life He gives is eternal. So we remember and honor the heroes of flight 93 and thank them for their service to our country and for the picture of the Lord Jesus Christ they gave us!

NOT YOUR AVERAGE PALM SUNDAY CHOIR!

Did you ever have a day when you were so busy you could not get to the blog? Well that was me yesterday, I apologize, and will not, I hope let it happen again.

This past Sunday in churches across the world people celebrated the Lord Jesus Christs triumphant entry into Jerusalem, otherwise known as Palm Sunday. It is a wonderful time of year to remember things like Palm Sunday, the Passover, the Resurrection. Well at the Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord Massachusetts there was a celebration of a different kind on Palm Sunday. From the wires;

"the Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) in Concord, MA, invited the Boston Gay Men's Chorus to give a homosexual-oriented concert as a fundraiser for the Boston chapter of "Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays" (PFLAG), one of the most aggressive homosexual groups in the country."

And this is from the flyer put out for the event;

"Boston Gay Men's Chorus at CCHS. . .
The Boston Gay Men's Chorus will sing selections from its show, "Metamorphosis" which tells the story of two young men who come out, meet each other, fall in love and deal with the rejection and reconciliation with their families"

This group was reportedly invited by the public high school to present their sick program. While you and I pay our tax dollars for our public schools, this is what they do. They rail against anything that has a message of Biblical morality or traditional family values, all the while being in bed (pun intended!) with the homosexual activists. As a tax payer, I thought you might want to know what you paid for last week!

SENSELESS JOB LOSS!

As hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants march and protest in the streets of our country, as they carry the flags of their country and shout,"we are Americans", here is the reality. Seventy workers from Alabama were promised jobs at ten dollars an hour for working on the Katrina clean up. These people desperately needed the work as some of them were displaced by Katrina. They were hired through an Alabama employment agency that had been told there would be up to two hundred and seventy jobs available. When the seventy got to where the jobs were, they were told that the jobs no longer were theirs, as others came that were willing to work for less. Who showed up to work for less? That's right, truckloads of illegal immigrants from Mexico. Linda Swope who runs the employment agency had this to say;

"We had been told that 270 jobs might be available, and we could have filled every one of them with men from this area, most of whom lost their jobs because of the hurricane," she said. "When we told the guys they would not be needed, they actually cried ... and we cried with them. This is a shame."

Seventy men in tears due to the loss of jobs that were rightfully theirs. Seventy men in tears over the loss of the opportunity to be able to provide for their families. Seventy men in despair because of illegal aliens coming to this country to steal their jobs. The marches are impressive, the rhetoric is passionate, but here is where the rubber meets the road. People who are citizens of this country are losing jobs due to the invasion of illegals.

It is not that Americans do not want to work. It is not an issue of laziness, it is purely an issue of economics. Employers are hiring illegals at half of the wages, or more, of what legal citizens would fairly be paid. There may be no greater domestic issue facing this great nation of ours. And here is my 2008 presidential prediction, the candidate with the best understood solution for dealing with illegal immigrants will win the day. Whoever can best explain how they would deal with this plan will sit in the Oval Office as Commander in Chief, which is a frightening thought to me. Because the best explained solution might not be the best solution , and it might not come from the best candidate! Stay informed!

ONE GREAT COUNTRY, TWO BAD SITUATIONS!

Here are two questions to consider, who said the following and how would he be received today?

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American.

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile ... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language ... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

That is Former President Teddy Roosevelt in a 1919 letter to the American Defense Society. He is making the sane point that if immigrants want to assimilate into our country, then let them assimilate! How would he be received today? As a bigot. As someone who is against immigration, which he was not, he was just for people following the law of the land as they immigrated into our country. A position that should be proclaimed today. Did you happen to watch the news in the past few weeks as people marched in favor of illegal immigrants? Did you happen to notice the flags they were carrying and the flags they were not carrying. They were carrying the flags of other countries such as Mexico and not carrying the American flag. In fact there were reports during these marches of people tearing down American flags.

The solution? Enforce the law, bring the 11 million illegal immigrants into compliance with the law, and enforce the laws on those who are seeking to get into our great country. We are a country founded on immigrants who became citizens of the country. Without a requirement of citizenship you will be left with a country that looks not much different than those from which these people come from.

On another note, and making this blog longer than usual, California bill SB 1437 is making progress through the California legislature. This is the bill brought by Democratic Sen. Sheila Kuehl, a lesbian. The goal of the bill is, in its own words;

mandate grades 1-12 buy books "accurately'' portraying "the sexual diversity of our society.'' It also requires students hear history lessons on "the contributions of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender to the economic, political, and social development of California and the United States of America."

This is not your grandparents America anymore!

NO CIVIL LIBERTY FOR ABSTINENCE!

Well the ACLU is at it again. Due to their pressure, Heritage Rhode Island has had their curriculum "Right time Right Place" barred by the state of Rhode Island. This is a curriculum promoting abstinence. The ACLU says it violates separation of church and state. The Heritage group uses a video from Focus on the Family, but it is the video designed for public schools. Executive Director Chris Plante puts it well;
"It is becoming clear that the ACLU is more interested in promoting their agenda than ensuring that teenagers receive a balanced message that includes abstinence," he said. "When the ACLU couldn't find any religious teaching in our programming, they bent the truth to fit their national platform."

The reality is that the curriculum did not have religious teaching, but that did not stop the ACLU. What they did not like was the content of the message, abstinence. As evidenced by the statement they put out:

"Programs like Heritage of Rhode Island subject students to an abstinence-only-until-marriage curriculum that is both ineffective and harmful. Teens need information on how to protect themselves from unintended pregnancy and STDs - they don't need sex education riddled with inaccuracies and gender stereotypes."

So the real truth is that it is not a church and state issue, but in fact an issue of disagreeing with the content of the material. Is that the charter of the ACLU? To make sure the content in schools is in line with their ideology? I thought their area of expertise was Civil Liberties. Once again we have been given a look behind the curtain into what it is that really drives groups like the ACLU, and it is not pretty!

HE WALKED ON ICE?

It is always fascinating to see the lengths unbelievers will go to disprove the truth of God's Word. Not too long ago we had the Jesus Seminar where liberal theologians (unbelievers) sat around and voted on what part of the Bible, particularly Jesus words were actually true. Based on their collective votes they would decide what actually was true from the Bible and what was not. Well once again we are witness to another exercise in futility, this time concerning the account of Jesus walking on water. A Florida State University researcher has figured it all out, from the wires;

"Professor of Oceanography Doron Nof and the co-authors of his study theorize that a rare combination of optimal water and atmospheric conditions resulted in a unique, localized freezing phenomenon called "springs ice," according to Physorg.com, which specializes in news about science, technology, physics and space."

So there you have it, Jesus was actually walking on ice. A small portion of the body of water that had iced over, sounds reasonable right? A glaring question to ask the good professor would be to account for the Apostle Peter. To go along with the professor's theory would mean that Peter must have gotten out of the boat and been walking on ice, but at some point in his walk, he slipped off the ice! Sure, that makes sense. What this evidences to us is that unregenerate man cannot hear nor see the truth of God and His Word apart from God moving on him. And so like a hamster on a wheel he will keep spinning in his attempt to explain away Gods Word.

The interesting thing to me is that the explanations that unbelievers come up with for the things of the Bible always take more faith to believe than simply believing Gods Word!

WHO IS COUNSELING YOUR KIDS?

In a revealing move the Virginia Schools Counselors Association removed from their annual convention a group that instructs and counsels people on dealing with and recovering from same sex attraction. PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays) had registered at the conference, but officials from the conference objected to some of the material they had put out. There was a book by leading reparative-therapy researcher Joseph Nicolosi. There was also material with a story of a transgendered person who warns against sex-change surgery. PFOX agreed to remove some of the materials but they were asked to leave and ushered out with the help of some of the local police who had been called to the event. PFOX is not a stranger to being dealt with this way. This is the same group that was barred from the national PTA meetings. The same meetings that had pro- homosexual groups exhibiting. The same convention that promoted "It's Elementary" a pro homosexual video for school children.

So once again we see an example of the censorship of those who would advocate views that are in line with traditional God honoring values. If you think there is not an agenda within the school system you are not paying attention. It was a convocation of School counselors that removed PFOX because of their material that helps young people know there is a way out of same sex attraction and transgendered issues. The school counselors convention was not interested in having a group there that could actually help young people deal with the real issues. The school counselors convention did not want anything that veered away from the pro-homosexual climate that permeates the public schools hallways of our country.

It is not hard to come to the obvious conclusion that what happens at a school counselors convention will trickle down to the counseling offices in the schools. That being true, what do you think your kids are being told when they seek out counsel from their school counselors?

WHAT ABOUT THE VICTIMS?

Lawmakers in Colorado are proposing legislation to ease the statute of limitations on reporting sexual abuse from those who have been victimized by the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church. The thinking behind the bill is that victims often have a hard time coming forward due to embarrassment and shame. The facts are that many who have been abused do not come forward for years. So this bill makes a lot of sense and shows compassion to the those who have been victimized by sexual predators within the church.

Amazingly Denver Archbishop Charles J. Chaput has come out vociferously against the bill. He believes it is an attack on the church and the bill should be defeated. He is urging his peers to speak out against this legislation in the name of being unjustly targeted. In California more than eight hundred suits were filed upon the statute of limitations being eased. People felt emboldened to come forward and seek justice and closure. But Archbishop Chaput and others within the church do not want people to have closure. They are not interested in the well being of those who have been tragically victimized. They want to make it more difficult for victims to get their justice.

Again we see another example of a leading voice in the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church putting the well being of the institution ahead of the people. Throwing people who have been sexually abused under the bus, in order to protect the institution of the church. Nothing new here, just more evidence to the sickness that reigns in the Roman Catholic Church leadership.
