Revisionist history is alive and well. Revisionist history is mans attempt to change history to better reflect his ideology. In that spirit the Kentucky Board of Education has decided to recommend that textbooks in the state have the secular dating abbreviations of B.C.E. and C.E. alongside the traditional Christian-based B.C. and A.D. B.C. stands for before Christ and A.D. stands for the year of our Lord. Abbreviations that have been used historically to mark time, but the Kentucky Board of Education in their infinite "wisdom" believes they should begin the process of doing away with those as they are too Christian. Now they will not say that up front. They will only at this point advocate that schools use textbooks with the additional B.C.E., "Before Common Era", and C.E. "Common Era" added.

You can be sure this is step one in the total elimination of the historic abbreviations that show the proper place of Christ in the history of man. Political correctness dictates moves like this one, as our culture cannot stand the thought of any absolute or the adherence to any one faith system, and certainly cannot stand the thought of Jesus Christ being recognized at all. It is important for us to be aware of these events and seek to stem the tide of the political correct police who seek to take over our great country. Now is the time to be on the local school committee, to run for local office, to get involved. I have said it before and bring it before you again. And that is all I have this eighteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord!

blog you later,
