I give you this quote from the Motion Picture Association of America;

"The theme of a PG-rated film may itself call for parental guidance," states the online explanation of the rating system. "There may be some profanity in these films. There may be some violence or brief nudity. ... The PG rating, suggesting parental guidance, is thus an alert for examination of a film by parents before deciding on its viewing by their children. Obviously such a line is difficult to draw."

This is how they determine what movie should get a PG rating. Basically they will put PG on anything that they believe parents need to be warned of , based on the content. Well amazingly this board of "experts" has placed a PG on a movie called "Facing the Giants". This is a low budget movie put out by a some evangelicals. It is a movie that has no violence, or foul language or nudity. In fact when it received a PG rating the producers were dumbfounded. The reason given for the PG rating was;

"the movie was heavily laden with messages from one religion and that this might offend people from other religions. It's important that they used the word 'proselytizing' when they talked about giving this movie a PG. ..."

Yes there is a scene in the movie where receiving Christ as Savior is spoken about and even advocated, and that my friends has now become PG behavior in our society. Think about it, Jesus is now PG in our society. A movie with certain G content is bumped to PG because of its references to Jesus! This is the upside down society we live in. Movies that should be R rated or worse are given PG and PG13 ratings, exposing kids to language and nudity, and a G movie is bumped to PG because of Jesus. What this means is that certain persecution for the church in America is on the way, and praise God for it!
