Here is some more news from the higher education facilities that taxpayers must fund. From the wires;

"While Iowa State University denied tenure this spring to gifted pro-ID astronomer Guillermo Gonzalez, it turns out that it decided at the same time to promote to full professor outspoken atheist Hector Avalos, religious studies professor and faculty adviser to the ISU Atheist and Agnostic Society."

Avalos in his writings has likened the Bible to Hitler's "Mein Kampf". He is an avowed atheist who spends much of his time working against those who would teach Intelligent Design, such as Guillermo Gonzalez. The question becomes not why, but when will people stop sending their hard earned dollars to schools such as this? Understandably there are those who would support the ideology that Avalos holds to, but I am convinced they are the minority. I am convinced that the majority would be appalled to read some of his writings, and would be in strong disagreement. Yet he receives tenure, a lifelong ticket to indoctrinate young people with his absurd convictions.

It is high time for parents to be involved, that is the answer. Moms and Dads who will take a keen interest in what it is that these colleges are teaching their children. Some would say that is too intrusive and that the college students are adults and can make their own choices. I would answer that as long as any parent is in any way financially supporting their children, they have a say! Ask questions, seek to find out who and what your children are being exposed to. The stakes have never been higher. Just today we hear from Adam Yehiye Gadahn, who is an American from California who has turned to Islam, and is in the news threatening our country on behalf of Al Qeida! How did that happen? It happened at college! He did not go to college supporting Al Qeida, but he came out that way.
Mom and Dad it is time to do all that you can to protect your kids from such perpetrators.
