A FUTURE PUBLIC SCHOOL PICTURE?
"History Alive! The Medieval World and Beyond" is a book published by Teachers' Curriculum Institute. It is being used in middle schools in California. In this book amazingly, Islamic "jihad" is an effort by Muslims to convince "others to take up worthy causes, such as funding medical research. Due to an anonymous parent complaint it is being reported that not only is "Jihad" being displayed in a positive light, but much of the book is given over to a pro Muslim position. Here is a quote from the parents complaint;
"It makes an attempt to seem like an egalitarian world history book, but on closer inspection you find that seven (not all are titled so) of the chapters deal with Islam or Muslim subjects. The upsetting part is not only do they go into the history (which would be acceptable) but also the teaching of Islam. This book does not really go into Christianity or the teachings of Christ, nor does it address religious doctrine elsewhere to the degree it does Islam. The book's one page referencing Jews is only to convey that they were tortured by Crusaders to get them to convert to 'Christianity.' (It fails to mention that the biggest persecutors of Jews throughout history and still today are Arab Muslims). It gives four other one-liner references to the Jews being blamed for the plagues and problems in the land. It does not talk about the Jews as making a significant impact on the culture at large. How can the writers of this text get away with this?"
That is the million dollar question, the answer to which is that our public schools are fast becoming nothing more than special interest indoctrination labs where your children are the victims. Both the Muslim and homosexual activists see public schools as a potential breeding ground for their sick perverted agendas. The right thing for an involved, interested clear thinking parent to do at this point is to get your children out of there. Otherwise there is a strong likelihood you will lose them to one of these two predatory ideologies. And then it will be too late!
